To all at Astro’s Oil Kidney Care and especially Dr. Marcovici:
I want to thank you all so much for your products which I believed allowed Myron to live 4 more years after being diagnosed. I really believe he would still be with us if only his kidney stones had continued to stay in place. Unfortunately, a stone dropped into the left ureter causing a blockage and only a few days later, another stone dropped from the right kidney into the ureter causing both kidneys to be blocked. We tried with a drug to dilate the ureter to see if they might pass, but it didn’t work. Since Myron also had cardiomyopathy and was starting into heart failure, he had never been a candidate for surgery.
We knew from the beginning that his right kidney was probably not functioning at all since it was very small and his ultrasound and Xrays showed a lot of kidneys stones in both kidneys. On top of all that, he also had cardiomyopathy which we didn’t fully understand. In spite of the bad hand he was dealt in health, Myron cooperated and was very strong, happy, and enjoyed a great quality of life filled with an incredible amount of love. He fought hard and came through periodic wandering kidney stones, a resistant bacterial infection of urinary tract and kidneys, and dental extractions with no problem. Our friends often commented that they couldn’t believe there was anything wrong with him.
Myron’s primary vet is beyond wonderful and he also had an equally wonderful specialist. They did everything possible to keep Myron’s condition stable. But without a doubt, we know that his turning point from feeling desperately ill at first, to suddenly eating well (exactly as promised on the 14th day of administration) was due to Astro’s oil. Then we began the protein and scrub. Muscle tone and weight returned with the protein almost dramatically and we know the scrub saved his kidney function far beyond what we thought possible. Myron had dropped from 17 lbs to 12 but thriving with your products he gained all of it back and more!! At one point we considered that he needed a diet but he adjusted down to a safe weight and continued to thrive just a little short of 4 years.
I know this is long, but I wanted you all to know that we are so grateful for the extra time we had with our special little guy and that we know your products played a great part. I know that Dr. Marcovici does not get these emails directly now. When we started on Myron’s treatment, he was the one that advised us and sent the newer products that were not yet on the website. I so much want him to know how much we appreciated his advice and his creation of these great products. So If you could just let him know that Myron passed due to unfortunate kidney stone blockages and that we all can’t thank him enough for giving us this extra time together.
I will always recommend your products to people who are dealing with kidney problems with their pets and I have shared the website and will continue to share it with veterinarians. I had just made an order so I have a lot of product left over. I know the oil can be used for healthy pets and I can put it to good use, but I don’t know of any pets with renal right now that could use the protein and scrub. I will continue to hold onto them hoping to find a good use for them. If you have any customers in the LA/Pasadena CA area, I would be willing to get it to them. Lovingly given in appreciation.
I’m sorry we don’t have a testimonial of Myron living into old age for your website, but I am so proud of him and how strong he was. I’m pretty sure he would have been with us many more years if not for the stones. His heart had even gotten stronger until the blockage. And we are forever grateful for each extra day we had with him.
